Our “GDP RED BALL” program is the perfect introduction to tennis for young children aged 4 to 6. Designed for beginners, this fun and engaging class focuses on developing basic motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and familiarity with tennis equipment. Using smaller courts, lower nets, and softer balls, kids gain confidence while learning the foundational skills of the game in a safe, play-based environment.

Our “GDP Red Ball” program is the ideal entry point, following the USTA developmental progression. It focuses on tennis basics, footwork, technique development, and improving athletic skills like balance and coordination. Many accomplished players started here. No prior experience is needed. This youth tennis program is perfect for introducing the sport to young players in Newport Beach.
