Registration Guidelines:

Priority Registration (For Students Currently in the Program):
January 22 – February 5

New Student Enrollment for Spring Session:
Children who are not currently enrolled in the program can be added to the waitlist online at this time. Starting February 10, students on the waitlist will be contacted on a first-come, first-served basis for available openings.

Open Registration:
Remaining spots will be made available for open registration online starting February 14.

Grip n Rip refers to the USTA Youth Progression standards and UTR ratings for eligibility and advancement through our development program. Click the button below to review the specific requirements.

Gripper Developmental Program (GDP Red Ball)

Age 5-6

Entry Level

After School Program: 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM, Monday to Thursday
Daytime Wednesday Program: 2:30PM – 3:30 PM, Wednesday

Our Gripper Red Ball program is the ideal entry point, following the USTA developmental progression. It focuses on tennis basics, footwork, technique development, and improving athletic skills like balance and coordination. Many accomplished players started here. No prior experience is needed.

Gripper Developmental Program (GDP Orange Ball)

Age 7-10

Entry Level to Beginner

After School Program: 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday
Daytime Wednesday Program: 2:15 pm – 3:30 PM, Wednesday

Our GDP Orange Ball program blends fundamental tennis skill development, athletic training, and an introduction to match play. Students learn movement, court positioning, scoring, and match etiquette. Using a lighter orange ball, this program requires no prior playing experience. Optional Sunday “Concepts of Play” events are available for extra practice, with sign-up details sent via email (not included in the program price).

Gripper Competitive Track (GCT Orange Ball) – New Program

Ages 7-10

Intermediate to Advanced Level

After School Program: 3:45PM-5:00PM Tuesday/Thursday

Our GCT Orange Ball program is designed for competitive young players ready to advance their skills. This program requires a twice-a-week commitment and aligns with USTA Youth Progression guidelines. Eligible students must start a point with a serve (overhand or underhand without ball drop), demonstrate rallying skills, keep score, and understand play concepts. Three optional Sunday “Concepts of Play” events will be available for extra practice, with sign-up details sent via email (not included in the program price). Students must participate in a minimum of 3 USTA events during the session.

With a 6-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio, the program focuses on equipping kids with the skills to compete confidently. Emphasis is placed on court positioning, starting the point, and building the rally.

To maintain a highly competitive environment, we kindly ask that interested participants add themselves to our waitlist. We will contact you to confirm if you qualify or to request a skill assessment. Direct registration is not available; initial evaluation is required.

Our Gripper Competitive Track Program is designed for emerging talents who have a 100% verifiable UTR to qualify for the program. This program emphasizes skill development, competitive play, and strategic training to help athletes advance in their age group and achieve their goals. Students are required to participate in a minimum of three UTR/USTA events during the session.

Ripper Performance Program (RPP)

Ages 11-15

Advanced Level

After School Program: 5:00PM-7:00PM Mon/Wed and/or Tues/Thurs

The Ripper Performance Program (RPP) boosts fundamental and competitive skills for tournament success, with a minimum UTR requirement of 2.5. It provides advanced training in agility, court strategy, mental focus, and physical conditioning, preparing participants for high-level competition. Students must participate in a minimum of 4 UTR/USTA events during the session.

RPP is for the most accomplished players, especially dedicated tournament competitors. With a 4-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio, it ensures personalized attention and tailored instruction. USTA and UTR players are ideal candidates. The program focuses on making juniors more competitive and equipping them with the tools to perform well in tournaments. There is also a strong emphasis on points and match play.
