Program Eligibility and Requirements for Advancement
Grip n Rip refers to the USTA Youth Progression standards and UTR ratings for eligibility and advancement through our development program. Click the button below to review the specific requirements.

Gripper Competitive Track Program (GCT Yellow Ball 11+)
Ages 11-15
Minimum 1.5 UTR (100% reliable) required
Program Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 2:00-5:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00-6:30 PM Match Play Day and Analysis
This is a weekly program running for 10 weeks. You can register for individual weeks, offering flexibility to adjust to your summer plans. Enjoy extra savings with our Multiple Week Discount when you register for multiple weeks!
Our Gripper Competitive Track Program is designed for emerging talents who have a 100% verifiable UTR to qualify for the program. This program emphasizes skill development, competitive play, and strategic training to help athletes advance in their age group and achieve their goals. Students are required to participate in a minimum of three UTR/USTA events during the session.

Ripper Performance Program (RPP)
Ages 11-15
Minimum 3 UTR (100% reliable) required
Program Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 1:00-5:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00-6:30 PM Match Play Day and Analysis
The Ripper Performance Program (RPP) boosts fundamental and competitive skills for tournament success, with a minimum UTR requirement of 2.5. It provides advanced training in agility, court strategy, mental focus, and physical conditioning, preparing participants for high-level competition. Students must participate in a minimum of 4 UTR/USTA events during the session.
RPP is for the most accomplished players, especially dedicated tournament competitors. USTA and UTR players are ideal candidates. The program focuses on making juniors more competitive and equipping them with the tools to perform well in tournaments. There is also a strong emphasis on points and match play.

Gripper Competitive Track (GCT Orange Ball) – New Program
Ages 7-10
Intermediate to Advanced Level
Program Schedule: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (3-day-per-week program)
Our GCT Orange Ball program is designed for competitive young players ready to advance their skills. This program requires a three-times-a-week commitment and aligns with USTA Youth Progression guidelines. Eligible students must start a point with a serve (overhand or underhand without ball drop), demonstrate rallying skills, keep score, and understand play concepts. Students must participate in a minimum of 3 USTA events during the session. Emphasis is placed on court positioning, starting the point, and building the rally.
